Louie Anderson to Star in 'Honey I Blew Up the Kid' Sequel
Wayne Szalinski is at it again! As everyone knows, a sequel has been in the works for years and it finally seems that it will become a reality. Everyone, take a deep breath, exhale slowly...
we did it.
Rick Moranis will be returning as the nation's most lovable mad scientist who is up to his old tricks in this zany sci-fi adventure dramady. Working with a tantalizing screenplay written by J.J. Abrams, Michael Bay is on board as director. Louie Anderson will be stepping up to join the immensely celebrated cast of the series', which in the past has included Matt Frewer, Thomas Wilson Brown, and Marcia Strassman. DMP contacted Michael Bay earlier this week regarding the guaranteed blockbuster and he promised it will be "fun for the whole family" and contain a very heart-warming subplot dealing with eco-terrorism. When asked about his state of the art special effects Bay said, "actually, Louie required very little CGI to get the desired effect."
Boofasten Note: I think congratulations are due to John for being the first person to successfully weave eco-terrorism, one of the main topics of the blog, into a post. For this achievement he gets the Defender of Freedom Barnstar. The ceremony will be held on TBS on May 24th and hosted by TV's favorite funnyman Frank Caliendo. Can't wait to see all you guys there!
Labels: Family Feud, J.J. Abrams, Louie Anderson is huge
